64 11 835 Replacing actuator drive for left blending flap

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM

Position of actuator drive: 

OVERVIEW OF ACTUATOR DRIVES ON HEATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT 

Release screws (1) and remove earth cable.

Installation note: 

Replace screws (1).

Take off holder (2).

Unclip connecting piece (1) and slide downwards.

Installation note: 

Latching of connecting piece (1) must be felt.

Release screws (1).

Feed out left footwell air outlet duct (2).

Unclip deflection arm (1) from deflector (5).

Release screws (4).

Remove actuator drive (2) and unlock and disconnect plug connection (3).

Replacement: 

Servomotors must be readdressed in the event of replacement!

Addressing can only be carried out with the BMW diagnosis system.
