51 24 010 Adjusting tailgate catch for tailgate upper section
Precondition:
- UPPER TAILGATE SECTION correctly adjusted to fit
- TAILGATE CATCH for lower tailgate section correctly adjusted
Slacken screws for Automatic Soft Close system.
Adjust Automatic Soft Close system and tighten down screws.
Close tailgate, check 41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS . and checking closing comfort.
If necessary, repeat procedure.
NOTE:
When tailgate is closed, Automatic Soft Close system must not make contact with or brush against tailgate lock. Look out for scratch marks.
Version with reversing camera:
After adjusting, check reversing camera and if necessary RECALIBRATE .
