51 47... Partially remove and install the carpet in the front passenger compartment
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove SIDE TRIM PANEL IN THE FOOTWELL on the driver's side
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR THE DOOR POST (BOTTOM) on the driver's side
- Remove front seat on driver's side. See applicable seat type:
- Normal/semi-electric seat: see REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (NORMAL/SEMI-ELECTRIC)
- Normal/electric seat: see REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT
- Sport seat: see REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT
- Comfort seat: see REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (COMFORT)
- Remove REAR DOOR SILL COVER STRIP (INSIDE) on the driver's side
- Remove ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE
- For version with central bass only:
- Remove CENTRAL BASS COVER on the driver's side
Fold the carpet (1) upwards and dry it.
If applicable, clean with carpet cleaner.
