51 47 151 Removing and installing/replacing left luggage compartment wheel arch trim

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open rivets (1) and remove.

Release lashing eye screw (2) and remove facing (lashing eye remains in vehicle).

Remove storage compartment (3).

Remove tailgate seal (5) in the area of the luggage compartment wheel arch panel (4).

Lever out luggage compartment wheel arch panel (4) and pull to the inside.

Installation:

If necessary, pressfit shaped foam part (1) back onto body frame (2) (see arrow).

Unclip panel of luggage compartment wheel arch (1) from the upper sill panel (2).
