Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the monitored pressure deviates from the specified pressure by -30 bar for > 7 sec.

Potential problem source(s):

• Flow-control valve sticking closed or pump is defective

  Terminal condition: Terminal 15

  Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

  Temperature condition:

• None

  Time condition:

• 10 sec. after engine start

  Other conditions:

• 4 mg/inj. < specified fuel flow < 50 mg/inj.
• 4900 kPa < specified fuel pressure < 20500 kPa
• Closed-loop mixture control active
• Activated charcoal filter load < 1
