Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the rail pressure on Bank 1 deviates from the specified pressure by 20 bar or the pressure regulator varies from the zero position by -20 bar for three seconds and the lambda control or the adaptation deviates by 10 %.

Potential problem source(s):

• Defect in wiring harness
• Rail pressure sensor defective
