Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the catalyst diagnosis value rises above 0.92.

Potential problem source(s):

• Initial diagnostic fault code prior to 0x180001_Bank 1
• Catalytic converter defective

Terminal condition: none

Voltage condition:

Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

Coolant temperature > 70 °C

Calculated precatalyst temperature > 380 °C

Calculated catalyst temperature > 450 °C

Time condition:

None

Other conditions:

• Engine on
• Speed between 28 and 109 km/h
• Lambda closed-loop mixture control and trim control = ON
• Engine RPM between 1500 and 3000 RPM
