Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

If the barometric pressure deviates from the other two sensors by more than 70 mbar then it is classified as implausible

Potential problem source(s):

• Sensor in ECU is defective
• Ventilation orifice in ECU is obstructed
• Problem with EBOX ventilation

  Terminal condition: none

  Voltage condition:

• ->10 volts

  Temperature condition:

• Induction air
• Control module temperature

  Time condition:

• 2 seconds after engine stops during shutdown phase

  Other conditions:

• in shutdown phase T>2 sec. with engine rpm=0
• Barometric pressure >750 hPa
• 20°< ECU temperature <146°
• 20° < Intake-air temperature < 100°
