Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the throttle valve's position deviates from the specified position by more than 10° for longer than 1 second.

Potential problem source(s):

• Defect in power supply to DME
• Defective wiring harness between DME and throttle valve
• Defective throttle valve

  Terminal condition: Terminal 15

  Voltage condition:

• None

  Temperature condition:

• None

  Time condition:

• None

  Other conditions:

• Engine on
• Throttle valve adaptation not active
• Voltage must be applied to throttle valve actuator
• No limp-home mode
