Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the ambient temperature deviates from boost-air temperature and engine temperature by more than 20 °C.
Potential problem source(s):
- Outside temperature sensor defective
- Tampering with wiring harness
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- Electrical system voltage > 10 V
Temperature condition:
- Coolant temperature > -10 °C
Time condition:
- Engine off for longer than 10 hours
Other conditions:
- Engine on
