Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the charge-air temperature is more than 25°C above the coolant temperature, while the coolant temperature is simultaneously in the vicinity of the ambient temperature.

Potential problem source(s):

• Sticking sensor
• Shunt current
• Sensor manipulation
• Defective DME
