Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the charge-air temperature is more than 15°C below the minimum of coolant and ambient temperature.

Potential problem source(s):

• Sticking sensor
• Shunt current
• Sensor manipulation
• Defective DME

  Terminal condition: Terminal 15

  Voltage condition:

• None

  Temperature condition:

• When the engine is started the ambient temperature must exceed -7.5 °C and be less than 35.3 °C,

  Time condition:

• None

  Other conditions:

• Engine must be running, TIA electrical diagnosis completed
