Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when both signals from the brake light switch are implausible.

Potential problem source(s):

• The brakelight switch is sticking or has an intermittent open contact.
• The signal wire is defective.

Terminal condition: Terminal 15

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• None

Time condition:

• 500 ms.

Other conditions:

• Depress brake pedal
