17 11 000 Removing and installing radiator (N52K, N54)

WARNING: Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.
IMPORTANT: Wear protective goggles and gloves.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Only automatic transmission or twin-clutch gearbox:  Release bolt and detach hose (1).

Only automatic transmission or twin-clutch gearbox:  Release bolt (1) and detach hose (2).

Release bolts (1) on radiator on left and right.

Tightening torque 17 10 2AZ .

Unlock and detach coolant hose (2).

Lift out module carrier (1) on left.

Feed out radiator (2) and remove towards top.

Installation: 

When reinstalling the radiator and module carrier (1), ensure without fail that the radiator is correctly seated in mounting (2).

Add final details to vehicle.

Check COOLING SYSTEM  for leaks.
