51 11 141 Removing and installing/replacing bumper panel at bottom front

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT BUMPER PANEL

Version with Park Distance Control:

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Remove cable from holders (2).

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Release all latch mechanisms (1) on left and right.

Remove the bottom bumper panel (2).

Installation note:

Latch mechanisms (1) must not be damaged.

Replacement:

Remove BOTTOM MIDDLE GRILLE
Remove UNDERRIDE PROTECTION

With Park Distance Control (PDC):

Remove the ultrasonic sensors. See FRONT SENSOR (CENTER) , FRONT RIGHT SENSOR , and FRONT LEFT SENSOR .
