1.15.1 Strategy: Notes

Principle:

• Sensors  which can affect emissions or which are utilized to monitor other components and/or systems are monitored for circuit continuity faults, SCBV faults, and for SCG faults, utilizing a high voltage and low voltage signal limit.
• Actuators  which can affect emissions or which are utilized to monitor other components and/or systems are monitored by testing the power stage voltage for valid signals.
• For some sensors and actuators, plausibility monitoring is included to ensure the components operate properly.
