Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

E7X: The fault is recognized when the DME main relay's contacts fail to close within a specified period after Terminal 15 is energized.

F01: The fault is recognized when no voltage is present at the DME within a specific period after Terminal 15 is energized.

Potential problem source(s):

E7X: - The control-activation wire to the DME main relay has a short circuit to positive or is open

• Defective DME main relay

F01: - Defect in wiring harness between CAS and DME

Terminal condition: Terminal 15

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• None

Time condition:

• 1 sec. after Terminal 15 on

Other conditions:

• none
