Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the throttle valve fails to reach the specified position of 17° in the specified period (roughly 0.6 sec.).

Potential problem source(s):

• Defect in wiring harness between DME and throttle valve
• Defective throttle valve

Terminal condition: Terminal 15

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• Intake air temperature > -10 °C
• Coolant temperature > -10 °C
• Coolant temperature < 142 °C

Time condition:

• None

Other conditions:

• none
