Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the voltage values for the two throttle valve sensors are not within the valid range for the emergency-air position while an activation signal is being applied (Sensor 1: 0.74 V +/- 0.3 V; Sensor 2: 4.26 V +/- 0.3 V)

Potential problem source(s):

• Defect in wiring harness between DME and throttle valve 2
• Throttle valve 2 defective

Terminal condition: Terminal 15

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• Intake air temperature > -10 °C
• Coolant temperature > -10 °C
• Coolant temperature < 142 °C

Time condition:

• None

Other conditions:
