Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the difference between the minimum and maximum recorded intake-air temperatures is less than 1.5 °C.

Potential problem source(s):

• Defect in wiring harness
• Intake air temperature sensor defective

Terminal condition: none

Voltage condition:

• None

Temperature condition:

• Ambient temperature between -7.5 °C and 35.3 °C

Time condition:

• Time after end of start phase > 63 sec.

Other conditions:

• 2 x (load phase 60 sec. + idle 40 sec.)
