Test condition:

The diagnostic fault code is logged when the period duration of the air mass signal 2 is < 80 μs.

Potential problem source(s):

• Intermittent open contact in signal wire
• Mass air flow sensor faulty

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• None

Other conditions:

• Engine running, engine speed > 1700 RPM
