Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the mass airflow rate measured by the HFM falls below the calculated mass airflow rate through the throttle valve to Bank 2 by 40 %.

Potential problem source(s):

• Mass airflow sensor defective

Terminal condition: Terminal 15

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

Coolant temperature > -10 °C

• '-10° < intake-air temperature < 90 °C

Time condition:

• None

Other conditions:

• Reduced dynamic response (load/RPM)
• 80 mbar < intake-manifold pressure < 800 mbar
