Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the catalyst diagnosis value rises above 0.92.

Potential problem source(s):

• Catalyst 2 defective

Terminal condition: none

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• Coolant temperature > 70 °C
• Calculated temperature of precatalyst > 380 °C
• Calculated temperature of catalyst > 450 °C

Time condition:

• None

Other conditions:

• Engine on
• Speed between 28 and 109 km/h
• Lambda closed-loop mixture control and trim control = ON
• Engine RPM between 1500 and 3000 RPM
