- If other diagnostic fault codes are logged, repair these faults first
- Conduct system test for interchanged oxygen sensors in wrong mutual positions
- Check wiring harness to oxygen sensors
- Check exhaust/muffler system forward of oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter for leaks
- Replace pre-catalyst oxygen sensor
- Replace oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter
- Replace DME
