Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the signal from the post-catalyst oxygen sensor exceeds 0.898 V during moderate vehicle operation.
Potential problem source(s):
- Collateral fault
- Defective wiring harness
- Leak in exhaust system
- Pre-catalyst or post-catalyst oxygen sensor is defective
- Defective DME
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- None
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- Drive at 50 - 80 km/h and moderate RPM
- No additional diagnostic fault codes logged
