Action in service
- Determine whether diagnostic fault codes for the fuel pump control are logged
- Use IMIB to check low-pressure sensor, if the two figures deviate by more than 550 mbar then replace the low-pressure sensor
- Testing operation of fuel system: If a fault is found, then repair the fault and delete the adaptation data for low-pressure fuel system control; if no fault is discovered and the fault frequency is as great as 3, then delete the adaptation data for the low-pressure fuel system control and take no additional action; if no fault is discovered and the fault frequency is > 3, then contact Technical Support
