Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when the temperature at the radiator discharge fitting is more than 20 °C above the engine temperature.

Potential problem source(s):

• Sensor defective

Terminal condition: none

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 11 V

Temperature condition:

• Engine temperature < -9.75 °C and intake-air temperature
• < -9.75 °C

Time condition:

• None

Other conditions:

• Engine on
