Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when a control signal is transmitted to the radiator vent slat's solenoid valve and an open circuit is present.

Potential problem source(s):

• Defect in wiring harness
• Defect in power supply to solenoid valve for the radiator vent slat assembly
• Defect in solenoid valve for radiator vent slat assembly

Terminal condition: none

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• None

Time condition:

• None

Other conditions:

• Engine on
