Condition for fault identification

Test condition:

The fault is recognized when a short circuit to positive is present during transmission of a control-activation signal to the radiator vent slat solenoid valve.

Potential problem source(s):

• Defect in wiring harness
• Defect in solenoid valve for radiator vent slat assembly

Terminal condition: none

Voltage condition:

• Electrical system voltage > 10 V

Temperature condition:

• None

Time condition:

• None

Other conditions:

• Engine on
