54 12... Removing and installing/renewing guide element pair for glass slide/tilt sunroof

Necessary preliminary tasks

Slide back gate (1).

Pry out stop (1) with screwdriver.

Move gate (1) forward as far as recess (2).

Lever control lever (1) out of guide rail and turn.

Move gate (1) forward as far as end fitting.

Lift gate (1) and slide it forwards out of guide.

Release gate (1) from carriage.

Carriage (1) for gate in guide rail.

Installation note:

Keep to installation sequence.

Move carriage back slightly if necessary.

Retract gate (1) into guide rail.

Attach gate (1) to carriage (2).

Switch over control lever (3).

Engage control lever (1) in recess.

NOTE: Spacer (1) of control lever must be situated in guide channel.

Move gate back.

Clip stop into place.

Before installing the drive, make sure both rails are at the front limit position.

Assemble glass slide/tilt sunroof and carry out function check.

INITIALIZE glass slide/tilt sunroof.
