11 61 365 Removing and installing/replacing front left charge air duct (N55)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove FAN COWL .
- Remove underbody protection. See FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION or FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION (AWD) .
- Loosen HOSE CLAMP (4) from rear charge air duct.
Unlock snap fastener (1).
Detach charge air duct (2) from charge air cooler connection (3).
Installation note:
The seal inside the snap fastener must be coated with anti-friction agent.
Charge air duct (2) must snap audibly into place!
Assemble engine.
