52 17 380 Removing and installing/replacing head restraint mount on left or right front seat (comfort)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove head restraint. See 52 14 390 Removing and installing or replacing front left or right head restraints (normal/electric) or 52 13 393 Removing and installing/replacing front left or right crash-active head restraint .
Remove both rear panels on front seat backrest.

Detach retaining points (1).

Unfasten cable clip (1).

Disconnect plug connections (2).

Feed out AKS carrier (3) towards bottom.

Release screws (1).

Installation:

Guide pins (2) of head restraint mount must engage in openings on AKS carrier.

Feed out head restraint mount (3) sideways.
