33 55 000 Removing And Installing/Replacing Rear Stabilizer

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove both stabilizer links from stabilizer  . See 33 53 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT COIL SPRING .

Release screws (1).

Replacement only: Remove both rubber mounts from stabilizer  . See 33 55 021 REPLACING BOTH RUBBER MOUNTS FOR STABILIZER MOUNTING .

Turn stabilizer (2) and remove sideways.

Installation: 

Check both rubber mounts for damage  , replace if necessary. See 33 55 021 REPLACING BOTH RUBBER MOUNTS FOR STABILIZER MOUNTING .

Align stabilizer centrally.

Tightening torque. See REAR AXLE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
