22 11 001 Replacing right engine mount (M54)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove reinforcement plate.
Release engine mounts on left and right from above. Tightening torque 22 11 1AZ/2AZ. Refer to ENGINE AND GEARBOX SUSPENSION - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
Raise engine approx. 30 mm.
Operation is described in Securing engine in installation position. Refer to SECURING ENGINE WITH SPECIAL TOOL IN INSTALLATION POSITION (M54) .

Release screws (1) and remove engine mount.

Tightening torque 22 11 1AZ. Refer to ENGINE AND GEARBOX SUSPENSION - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Installation:

Ensure correct position of heat shield.

Installation:

Lug (1) of engine mount must point to middle of vehicle.

Engine mount designations:

Right engine mount: Even component number

Left engine mount: Odd component number
