52 30 303 Removing and installing/replacing actuating mechanism for rear seat backrest

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Unclip trim (1) and feed out from release lever (2).

Installation: 

Retaining lugs must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace faulty trim (1).

Press in detent lugs and remove release unit (1).

Disengage Bowden cable sleeve (1) from actuating unit (2).

Carefully press retaining lug (1) back with screwdriver and feed Bowden cable nipple (2) out of actuating unit.
