63 21 055 Replacing a socket housing for left or right rear light (on side panel)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove flap in luggage compartment trim , see 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM, LEFT OR RIGHT .
Turn socket housing for rear light (1) or (2) in direction of arrow and pull out of rear light (5).
Pull socket housing for rear light (3) and (4) out of rear light (5).
Remove associated bulb(s) , see 63 99 201 Replacing halogen bulb for left or right front fog lamp .
NOTE:
- Socket housing, brake light (1)
- Socket housing, brake light (2)
- Socket housing, reversing light (3)
- Socket housing, direction indicator (4)
Installation:
Make sure socket housings for rear lights (1, 2, 3, 4) are correctly seated and engaged on rear light (5).
