51 32 211 Replacing front left or right rubber guide for left or right door window

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove door window glass, see 51 32 170 Removing and installing/replacing door window glass, front left or right .
- Remove cover on door window frame, see 51 32 160 Removing and installing/replacing housing cover on inner left or right door window frame .
IMPORTANT:
The "Instructions on fitting window guide seals" serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail, see 51 00... Notes on fitting window guide seals .
Pull rubber guide (1) completely out of front door.
Installation:
Moisten rubber guide (1) prior to fitting with approved anti-friction agent, see 51 00... Notes on fitting window guide seals .
Insert rubber guide at front/bottom correctly into window guide rail.
Acoustic insulation under rubber guide (1) must not be damaged or missing.
Installation:
Rubber guide (1) must not be damaged in corners (2).
