51 43 251 Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim Panel For Left Or Right Rear Roof Pillar (C - Pillar)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove rest side section  . See 52 26 008 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT/RIGHT SIDES OF BACKREST ON REAR SEAT BACKREST (THROUGH-LOADING) .

Version with 3rd seat row: 

• Remove trim on C-pillar at bottom  . See 51 43 230 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM LEFT OR RIGHT (3RD SEAT ROW) .

Lever out cap (1) and release screw underneath.

Release clip (2) and screw (3).

Tightening torque. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Remove trim (4).

Complete removal only: 

Release screw for seat belt.  See 72 11 092 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT SEAT BELT .

Feed trim (4) out of seat belt.
