51 24 080 Removing And Installing/Replacing Drive For Rear Lid Lock

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove trim for rear lid lower section  . See 51 49 090 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR REAR LID LOWER SECTION .

Lever out cover (1), release screw underneath and remove handle (2).

Lever out cover (3) and release screw underneath.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty drives (1 and 2).

Disconnect Bowden cable (1 and 2).

Release screws (1) and feed out drive (2).

Tightening torque. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
