64 22 162 Removing and installing/replacing center fresh air grille (automatic A/C High)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove control display trim. Refer to 51 45 ... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CONTROL DISPLAY TRIM .

CAUTION: Proceed with care so as to avoid damaging the fresh air grill.

Release screws (1).

Press out center fresh air grill (2) from inside in direction of arrow.

Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect. Remove center fresh air grill (2).

Installation:

Make sure electric leads are correctly routed.
