51 16 188 Replacing base for centre console on storage tray

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove centre console carrier section, refer to 51 16 180 Removing and installing centre console carrier section

IMPORTANT: Set down centre armrest on a suitable surface.

Release screws (1) on left/right.

Remove trim (2) in direction of arrow.

Release screws (1).

Raise base (2) in direction of arrow and pull off.

Installation:

Make sure base (2) is correctly seated in guides (3).

Unlock plug housing (1) and feed out cable.

Release screws (2).

Remove centre console function carrier (3).

Release screws (1).

Remove drinks holder (2) in direction of arrow.
