51 33 000 Removing and installing power window unit in left or right front door: Notes

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove front door window glass, refer to 51 32 170 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING DOOR WINDOW GLASS, FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT 
• Remove door brake for front door, refer to 51 21 280 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING DOOR BRAKE ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR 

Slacken screws (1)

Slacken screw (2) and remove retaining clip (3).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ. Refer to BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Installation: 

Make sure guide (1) is correctly seated when fitting retaining clip (2).

Release cable tie (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2) on drive.

Release screws on power window unit above bores (3).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ. Refer to BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Removal of power window:

1. Feed out rear window lift rail
2. Feed out front window lift rail
