61 71 100 Removing and installing/replacing windshield washer pump

Drain fluid reservoir for windshield washer system. See 61 71 061 Replacing Fluid Reservoir For Windshield Washer System

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Detach hose (2) from windshield washer pump (4).
Unclip cover (3) and lay to one side.
Installation:
Make sure cover (3) is correctly seated.
Make sure hose (2) is laid without kinks.
Turn windshield washer pump (4) in direction of arrow through approx. 90° and pull up and out of fluid reservoir for windshield washer system.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring and strainer in windshield washer pump.
Coat sealing ring of windshield washer pump with antiseize agent.
Fill fluid reservoir for windshield washer system.
