65 82 530 Replacing MOST CAN Gateway Control Unit

Special Tools Required: 

• 64 1 020

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove control display. Refer to 65 82 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) CONTROL DISPLAY .

Lever out lugs (1) in direction of arrow.

Lift housing of control display (1) over catches (2) using special tool 64 1 020.

Fold up control display (2) in direction of arrow and feed out of MOST CAN gateway control unit (3).

Installation: 

Do not kink ribbon cables (3) when assembling control display (2) and MOST CAN gateway control unit (1).

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Remove MOST CAN gateway control unit (2) from control display (3).

Replacement: 

Carry out coding/programming. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .

Observe following IDC specifications:

• Programming.
• Coding.
• Car & Key Memory.
• CD "CIP".
