64 11 216 Removing And Installing/Replacing Rear A/C System Fan

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove panel for luggage compartment partition. Refer to 51 47 141 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT PARTITION .

Unlock plug housing (1) and detach towards bottom.

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Release screws (3).

Pull out cover with rear A/C system fan (4) towards top.

NOTE: Secure rear A/C system fan against falling out.
Release screws (1).

Release screws (1).

Remove rear A/C system fan (2) and controller for rear A/C system fan (3) together in direction of arrow.

Unlock plug connection underneath and disconnect.
