64 12 525 Replacing Complete Independent Heater

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove complete independent heater. Refer to 64 12 021 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE INDEPENDENT HEATER .

Unfasten hose clip (1).

Detach air intake hose (2) in direction of arrow.

Release screws (3).

Release screw (1) slightly.

Pull counter holder (2) out of guide.

Disconnect independent heater holder (3) from independent heater (4).

Installation:

Replace exhaust gasket (5).

Installation:

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:

Programming.
Coding.
Car & Key Memory.
CD "CIP".
