63 99 492 Replacing Light Module For Rear Left Or Right Outside Door Handle Lighting (Up To 09/2004) (With Roller Sun Blind On Rear Door)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove both drives for roller sun blind. Refer to 67 65 019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DRIVE FOR LEFT OR RIGHT ROLLER SUN BLIND

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock both catches (4) and detach light guide (3).

Release screw (5).

Remove light module for outside door handle light (2) in direction of arrow from centerings (6).

Installation: 

Catches (1) of light module for outside door handle lighting (2) must engage correctly when fiber optic guide is inserted.
