62 11 280 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Instrument Cluster

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove wood trim on instrument panel on left. Refer to 51 45 360 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WOOD TRIM ON LEFT .

Release screws (1).

Fold instrument cluster (2) towards rear and remove in direction of arrow.

Disconnect plug connection behind.

Installation:

Retaining lugs (1) of instrument cluster (2) must be exactly seated in mountings of instrument panel.

Replacement:

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:

Programming.
Coding.
Car & Key Memory.
CD "CIP".
