51 16 188 Replacing Base For Center Console On Storage Tray

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove center console carrier section. Refer to 51 16 180 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTER CONSOLE CARRIER SECTION .

IMPORTANT: Set down center armrest on a suitable surface.

Release screws (1) on left/right.

Remove trim (2) in direction of arrow.

Release screws (1).

Raise base (2) in direction of arrow and pull off.

Installation:

Make sure base (2) is correctly seated in guides (3).

Unlock plug housing (1) and feed out cable.

Release screws (2).

Remove center console function carrier (3).

Release screws (1).

Remove drinks holder (2) in direction of arrow.
