51 32 420 Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim On Front Door Window Frame, Left Or Right

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove front window cavity cover strip. Refer to 51 21 302 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CHROME STRIP FOR WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP (ON OUTSIDE OF FRONT DOOR) .

Partially detach rubber window seal (1) at rear.

Installation: 

Coat rubber window seal (1) with water before fitting.

Release screws (1).

Press trim (2) towards rear and lever out sideways.

Remove trim (1) towards top.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty plastic nuts (1).

Installation: 

Check trim (1) for damage, replace if necessary.
